5 things bout your surroundings

1. Usually, I keep the curtains open during daytime, but for some reason I haven't bothered today.  It's just after 3pm and it seems too late to mess with it now.  The house is definitely much nicer when it isn't a cave, though.
2. There's a lilac candle on the coffee table that I've almost completely burned through since Christmas.  It's so nice smelling.
3. Speaking of Christmas, my mom got my husband and me the best blankets ever.  They're larger than average throw blankets and sooo warm.  Perfect for this week.
4. The dog and both cats are all napping.
5. It's finally going to warm up a bit again.

4 things about yourself

1. I'm semi watching my husband play RDR2 and Arthur is not doing so hot.
2. We just got a PS4 recently and I've been replaying Final Fantasy 12 The Zodiac Age.  I remember loving the original release, but wow.  I completely forgot how much I love it.  It's been ~46 hrs. and there's a little less than half the game left.
3. You know when you're not not hungry but you want a snack anyway?  Yeah.
4. Who else isn't looking forward to work tomorrow?

3 things on your to do list

 

Chores.  It's pretty much all chores.

1. Clothes laundry is in the dryer.  Sheets laundry is sitting on the couch waiting to be folded.
2. Dishes, dishes, dishes everywhere.
3. After my shower later I'm going to do a sheet mask. <3

2 thing you've accomplished

1. I made the best batch of gumbo yet.  Now that I'm thinking about it, it might be a good idea to create a separate post for it.
2. I had a very leisurely morning and it was glorious.
